Although she got married in one in the early '80s, the singer now says: "Learning about how horses have died in accidents and seeing their pathetic stalls have caused me to change my tune about the carriage horses."

After Lisa Rinna and Molly Simms walk the runway at the annual American Heart Association's Red Dress Show tomorrow, they'll be relaxing with American Express cardmembers in the luxurious AmEx skybox at Bryant Park.

Is Ethan Hawke expecting? We were the first to tell you that the hunky actor had been in a secret relationship for years with his (and Uma Thurman's) former nanny, Ryan Shawhughes. Now In Touch reports the couple is expecting a baby of their own. Hawke's rep did not comment.

December 2006 Archives

We are expecting our first child together this summer. Obviously, we couldn't be happier and our families are thrilled. I have always wanted to be a dad. I just wish my father could be around to share the experience. I'm going to stick close to home for the next few weeks. As I said on my website Friday, I'm going to start my 2007 PGA Tour season at the Buick Invitational in late January, which will allow Elin and I to spend more time with our families during this very special time in our lives. Our best wishes to everyone for a great 2007."

Congrats! Love him...

Angels are treasured reminders of sister's spirit

Surely if you're a teenager with cancer, it doesn't matter how many how times you're hooked up to an IV, even the first infusion of chemo is one too many.

But whenever Mandy Miller bravely let the drugs penetrate her veins -- the drugs she hoped would poison her nemesis -- a small stuffed angel hung atop Mandy's IV pole, bringing comfort and hope to a terrible situation.

"Looking up and seeing the angel, all while Mandy was battling the fight of her life, was one of most reassuring things ever," says Mandy's sister, Michelle Hurley, 25, of Royal Oak. "In the midst of such a brutal and grueling time, there was something so soothing, like we had a bit of control over such an uncontrollable situation."

Mandy was diagnosed in March 2004 with a rare and aggressive childhood cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma.
